HALLS GAP is a small settlement of residential and tourist accommodation,
with a Shopping Centre containing a Supermarket, Speciality Shops, Post Office,
Petrol Station, Tourist Information Centre, Newsagency, Hotel, Restaurants etc.
Distance from Melbourne to Halls Gap is 253 km via Ararat/ Moyston/Pomonal (a lovely scenic drive),
or 260km via Stawell along the Western Highway.
Holiday Heights Cottage location is 46 Scott Road, Halls Gap.
Central and only one and a half kilometres from Restaurants and Shopping Centre - either
take the scenic bush walking track with cute little bridges and seats along the way, or drive.
Kangaroos, Deer etc come down from the Mountains behind to graze in the Cottage area.
Kookaburras and other birds fly down onto the verandah railing
and patiently wait for your offerings of food!
The morning Chorus of bird songs is quite amazing!
